Utah broker exam format
Pearson VUE-administered exam for the Utah Division of Real Estate. National/general portion 80 scored items; Utah state salesperson portion 50 scored items; Utah state broker portion 90 scored items. Four hours total. Verified against the Pearson VUE Utah Real Estate Candidate Handbook (#094500) content outlines, 2026-07-27. The national/state time split (160/80) is a proportional model; the handbook publishes only the four-hour total. Corrected 2026-07-27: broker state questions were previously modelled at 40 (a documented deviation from the real 90) because the bank held only 89 broker-eligible state-law questions and an accurate 90 would have made every broker mock identical. 94 new broker-eligible questions were added, sourced directly from Utah Code Title 61 Chapter 2f (licensing requirements, renewal, branch offices, affiliation, exemptions, discipline, recovery fund, definitions), bringing the bank to 183 broker-eligible — the config now states the real 90-item contract.
